Beaver Smartie Tube Challenge - March 2009
The Beavers held a 'Smartie Tube Challenge' for Red Nose Day.
All the Beavers were given two tubes of Smarties to take home and eat. We asked the Beavers and their families if they could fill up one of the tubes with any spare cash to donate to Red Nose Day. The other challenge was to decorate the other tube in any way they wanted.
I would like to thank all the Beavers and their families for taking part. We raised a grand total of £38.40 which has now been paid into the Red Nose Day fund. Not bad for loose change.
This challenge will go towards the Beavers gaining the Frienship Challenge (for fundraising) and the Creative Challenge (decorating the tube).
