Scouts
Scouts are for boys and girls age 10½ to 14. The troop meet on Monday evenings.

Troop News - April 2008
Important Note for Parents: A reminder that we are operating a parent rota for helping on troop night. If you are unable to make the date against your name please make arrangements with someone else to swap with you and update the list in the entrance hall. NO HELP = NO MEETING.
When dropping your son/daughter in the car park please make sure before you leave that the Troop Meeting is actually taking place as you assume it will be.

To Nick on being presented with his Chief Scouts Silver Award. Nick gained this as a Cub. It is the TOP award in the Cub Section. See pictures here. |

On Saturday 29th March eight Scouts came along and worked to complete a Two Hour project of Spring Cleaning the Scout Hut and Grounds. This goes towards the Outdoor Challenge. Each Scout also brought along at least one parent to help with the task. Together with leaders, executive committee members and some Beavers and Cubs a total of 28 people carried out the spring clean. An amazing amount of work was achieved.

Saint George's Day |

Several Scouts attended the Saint George's Day service and parade on Sunday 20th April at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, where they renewed their Promise. See pictures here.

Easter Quiz Evening |

The Easter Quiz Evening on the last night of term was a huge succes. This was due to the hard work put into organising it by Akela for the Quiz, Sam for the Egg Faces and Andy and Jenny for the Tombola and Refreshments. See pictures here. |
